Parents & guardians
Visiting Hours
Parents may meet the Principal regarding their ward on working days from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in summer and 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in winter.
Parents who wish to discuss a matter with a teacher may meet them on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In an urgent case, a teacher may be met during the first period with the Principal’s permission.

Student conduct
School Discipline
Punctuality is an important part of school discipline. Students must reach school on time, attend regularly and follow the school’s rules of conduct and decorum. Students are expected to show respect, maintain personal cleanliness and behave responsibly throughout the school day.
Team spirit
House System
To promote team spirit and healthy competition, students are allotted to four houses. Games and co-curricular activities are organised through inter-house competitions.

Assessment
Terminal Tests
For promotion to the next class, the report includes 25% weightage from the First Terminal Test, 25% from the Second Terminal Test and 50% from the Third/Final Terminal Test. Project work carries 20% marks in each terminal test. The stated pass percentage is 40% or as decided by the school.

School Uniform
The school has a prescribed uniform for all students. Students must come to school properly dressed in the complete uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
Home-school partnership
Daily Homework
Students are assigned daily homework in their diaries along with a record of day-to-day progress. Parents are requested to check their ward’s diary regularly and ensure that due attention is given to the assigned work.
As the medium of instruction is English, regular conversation in English at home can help children follow their lessons more easily and confidently.
